Voter Protection , in particular Ballot Cure (explained below), which is necessary in many states, regarding U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and other down-ballot races.

Special Urgent Need — Ballot Cure Volunteers
Live & Remote — Post-Election Day

What is Ballot Cure:
If a mail-in ballot is missing a signature or date, the election board may reject the ballot as deficient. Ballot Cure is the process of helping voters fix (“cure”) that ballot by resolving the signature or date issue. If a deficient ballot is not cured, the ballot will not be counted.
Ballot cure volunteers can work by phone from their homes. They undergo a brief training at the start of their phone shift, then speaking with voters to help cure their ballots. Volunteers might also work in the field, visiting voters at their homes. Volunteers may work for short shifts — 1 to 2 hours, or much longer.
When a Ballot Cure Volunteer contacts a voter, that voter may not even know their ballot was rejected. Ballot Cure Volunteers are greatly appreciated by voters who have a chance to have their vote counted.
Why Ballot Cure Matters:
In Pennsylvania, Senator Bob Casey is 30,000 votes shy of victory. Currently, about 100,000 ballots have been rejected in PA, and if they are cured, the 30,000 deficit may be overcome. The only path to victory for Sen. Casey is through ballot cure.
In North Carolina, there are 2 State Senate races in which one candidate is up by fewer than 50 votes, and there are 65,000 provisional ballots that have not been cured. NC is seeking to break a Republican supermajority.
There are many other razor thin races in the U.S., with ballots that need to be cured.
Ballot curing makes a difference.

Post-Election,, volunteer Ballot Cure Teams will go door-to-door and phone voters in Battleground States to help voters whose mail-in ballots were rejected by election boards due to a missing signature or date, or another deficiency. To help in the field, there are Virtual Field Offices (FVOs) .
Volunteers are needed to staff the VFOs, which are essentially interconnected Zoom rooms in which volunteers coordinate efforts related to Curing ballots. You can get started as soon as today by filling out this form:
